(Almaden Expressway and Coleman Ave)
Come down and see live DJs, and stay for the fireworks at 9:30.
We will broadcast live from the event starting at 2pm.

KFJC Co-Presents the Alameda Rock & Roll Flea Market at Faction Brewing in Alameda! The flea market will feature music by The Tigerellas, Soraia, Sir Bald Diddley/Hipbone Slim, Kepi Ghoulie, Frankie & The Pool Boys & more. Plus 100 vendors & food trucks! Faction Brewing is at 2501 Monarch Street in Alameda. All ages are welcome.

Three surf bands will play live at KFJC - The Strings Aflame (Mexico), The Nebulas (Rhode Island) and The Coffin Daggers (New York).  Tune in for 3 hours of reverb delight! Hosted by Cousin Mary.

Les Paul was the electronic genius that gave us rock ’n roll music. He invented the solid body guitar (even has one named after him), without which rock wouldn't rock so much. And he developed multitracking, among other electronic toys commonly used in rock music. But he was much more than an inventor. His guitar skills were greatly admired by musicians all over the world. But he wasn’t copied. Mainly, because at the time, nobody could do it. Alongside his wife Mary Ford, they created some of the most inventive music of their time. Listen in as dr doug presents an examination of Les Paul, guitar wizard and inventor extraordinaire.
